Our Mission and Values | mcc children's ministry

The vision of our ministry is - To transform children into fully devoted followers of Jesus by bringing faith and families together.  We believe that the best way to bring children into a loving, growing relationship with Jesus Christ is by parternering with their families.  Therefore we provide many opportunities for children and their families to experience growth in their faith together!

Our ministry is guided by five values, which have come to be known as the five "Rules of the Road".  Every time a child comes through our doors, we strive to teach them how they can:

1.  LOVE GOD God loves us and desires for everyone to have a loving relationship with Him (Deuteronomy 6: 5).

2.  PRAISE JESUS God saves us through His son, Jesus, and He is worthy of our praise (Deuteronomy 6: 21; 8: 10; 10: 21).

3.  KNOW HIS WORD God wants us to know and obey His word, the Bible (Deuteronomy 8:3).

4.  SERVE OTHERS God wants us to love, respect, and serve others (Deuteronomy 10:17).

5.  HAVE FUN God wants us to enjoy life, to have fun (Deuteronomy 6:2).
